Such a great time at Heddon Street Kitchen. Had the Porterhouse steak, creamy mash potato, honey roasted carrots, asparagus and panna cotta. The team were superb so friendly and chilled and totally hit the nail on the head, Andres especially is such a credit to this team, had the pleasure of having him as my waiter a couple of times now and can not wait to see him again. Eduardo as well was lovely as always and so kind, another absolute credit to the team and can not wait to come back.

We really didn’t know if Gordon Ramsey’s food would live up to all the hype. We were so pleasantly surprised. Beyond our expectations. For someone who has so many restaurants and have such good quality is amazing.

We went to Savoy last year and was hugely disappointed with their Wellington (though everything else was good), we hesitated and finally decided to try it again in a different place. we are so glad we did—the beef Wellington is great here, as was all other dishes our great staff Ionut recommended. Ionut was professional and recommended/served, we had a blast. This is hands down our best meal in our 5-day London visit.

Went to Heddon Street as it kept coming up in lists as a good place to take children. We booked for 6pm. We were welcomed warmly by the team and shown to our table which was inside but against the opened doors (lovely in a spring evening but when the wind changes you can smell the drains of London - I understand this is not the restaurants fault). Bread and starters were good but we were disappointed with the quality of the main course. The kids meals were ok, fine for young children. We had the burger and the ‘idiot sandwich’. Burger was overcooked and chips had very little flavour. Sandwich was really greasy and burnt in places. We ordered Mac & cheese on the side which was good. Dessert was better, kids enjoyed the ice cream bar (although they were out of some options). We had the sundae and the cherry cheesecake rescued the meal or I would have given it two stars. Staff were friendly but service was slow and it took ages to clear our table. Perhaps they were short staffed. At £230 for 4 of us (1 glass of alcohol) it wasn’t great quality, perhaps my expectations were too high. I would have enjoyed a Five Guys burger & chips more.
