About The Chaplins Garden Marquee

Bishops Avenue, London, SW6 6EA

Fulham Palace has many backdrops for you to choose from, for every stage of your event. Seven rooms, two courtyards and 13 acres of gardens provide an abundance of different scenarios and solutions. The private event spaces at the palace are hired exclusively, so you really can make it your own for the day.

Situated in a private walled garden, our marquee is wonderful for medium to large-sized events. The Chaplain’s Garden is perfect for drinks before moving into the marquee itself for dinner or dancing. Well lit and well heated, the versatile marquee can easily be decorated to suit the theme of your event or transformed into a meeting or conference space to your own specifications.

Very cozy if a little aged cafe. Nice on a weekday morning when it's quiet.

This place is a hidden gem of London. Beautiful drawing room cafe and nice grounds, garden and lawn. You can also explore the history of the place with helpful volunteers helping to explain. Come visit. The squirrels on the grounds are very friendly and will approach you for food. Some had gotten fat from being over fed by humans!

Pros: The grounds, especially the lawn, is spacious and the walled garden whilst small is pretty and well-landscaped. The cafe inside has indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of seats. Staff is friendly, tea/coffee and food offerings are competent. Nice hot chocolate. Cons: The building itself (outside of the cafe) is a tad grim and is mostly empty.
