One of two restaurants at Petersham Nurseries Covent Garden site, (the other being The Petersham) La Goccia is a relaxed, all-dayer offering an extensive menu of Italian small plates, otherwise known as cicchetti. Named after the Italian interiors shop owned by co-founder Francesco Boglione’s mother, the nature-inspired space features an open grill and wood-burning oven, with food prepared in front of guests. Cocktails meanwhile, are botanically-inspired.

March 2024Excellent meal, we stumbled upon this restaurant and are so glad we did. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly and professional. The beef ragu was the best I’ve ever had. Big thanks to Miguel (Mickel) who made our experience even better.

February 2024We ordered lots of food and cocktails and everything was great. The padron peppers were slightly bitter but overall nice. My favourite dish was the burrata or Ragu. I had an amaretto sour which was also fantastic. The service was great and everyone was attentive and friendly. The decor of the restaurant is also very nice, including the bar area.

February 2024A large group of us, we ordered pretty much everything on the freshly released, new menu. It was ok. The most memorable thing was the gnocchi which were pillowy and delicious, and the prosecco, which was just right. That and the tiramisu I got for dessert - not a classic, it was caramelised pear + cinnamon, topped with amaretti, unusual but very very very good.
