About The Gin Terrace

Swingers, 8 Brown's Buildings, London, EC3A 8AL

Comprising two 9-hole crazy golf courses with three incredible street food vendors, five cocktail drenched bars and a two-storey clubhouse, Swingers - City is the ultimate destination for a spot of competitive socialising.

Housed in an 16,000 square ft. basement in the shadow of the Gherkin, in the heart of The City, Swingers recreates a quintessential 1920s English country golf club. Once inside you’ll discover two quirky and challenging crazy golf courses - the Lighthouse Course and the Windmill Course.

Swingers is totally unique and outrageously fun, making it the ideal venue for a host of occasions ranging from birthday parties, team building, client entertaining, festive celebrations or simply a night out for a group of friends looking for something a little different.

The scale of the venue, the stunning bespoke crazy golf courses and the quality of the food and drink will keep your guests talking about your event for a long time afterwards. Swingers have a range of packages and exclusive areas available for groups of 12-500 people.

Along with politeness, sportsmanship and apologies, the English also do gin rather well. Surrounded by vines, climbing plants and other foliage, our Gin Terrace and bar on the balcony overhanging the Lighthouse Course is a great place to add some pep to your par - from a particularly effervescent Tanqueray and tonic to a stiff martini to wet your whistle before getting into the action.

We went here for a corporate event and it was really fun! Food was fine - pizza and burgers - and the drinks were great. It was a fun corporate outing with our team as we got to enjoy the course together (and you can bring your drinks while playing!)

Went here for an event with the company I work at. The place is really beautiful and well organized. The food is amazing (from pizza to tacos, burrito and nachos) and the Mini Golf are is a nice hour to be spent with your friends. The team is very very nice (special thanks to Betti, David and Klarissza) and they make you feel like in a place you would like to come back. Keep up the good work!

Great venue. Plenty of staff everywhere. Pretty chic and trendy but not so trendy that I felt out of place! The actual golf is good fun definitely not too easy, some clever little bits to each hole. You can also order drinks from the staff and they bring them to your hole which is a great touch! The bar in the centre is well stocked and the staff are really friendly. I had a margarita and it was pretty tasty and plenty strong! There were plenty of seats everywhere, ranging from large tables to seats at the bar. We didn't eat but the food looked good, plenty of choice. There was a free cloakroom which was a nice touch and the toilets were really clean and decorated to match the whole style of the place. The overall ambience was super, really great vibe to the whilw place and everyone, both staff and customers, had a smile the whole time! (Even me when I lost!!!)

Great place, the interior looks beautiful. The only reason why I don't give 5 stars is the dj started playing a bit louder music around 7pm. The party started at 4pm, until 7 was only background music. For 5he party I was attending we had to wait too long for. The food and drinks, but maybe this is not the place fault, maybe there was just too many people. Overall would love to visit again but with smaller group and maybe not at 4pm.

Loved this place! It's a lovely venue and plenty of fun. It is right next to the gerkin and we had walked right past it the first time. There's a wooden, sandwich board sign outside. We arrived and our slot was allocated in about 50 minutes time so we could have some food and a drink. There were three cute, little food counters that served pizza, burgers and taco. The golf courses were fun and challenging enough to keep us going yet not too easy where we would just get bored. There was 4 of us and we finished the 9 hole course in about 45 minutes. It was great in that you could order cocktails whilst on the course and the bar staff would bring it over. We're looking forward to trying the other course here or trying the other branch in central London.
