The Depot N7, Entire Venue

Quite disappointed with my visit this time round. Drinks were okay, but food was mediocre only. I wonder if they have changed their chef/kitchen staff. The buttermilk chicken was charred black the first time round and then too salty the second time round, and finally, the staff refunded us for it instead. Otherwise, service was okay - but they seemed a little short of staff and as such, there were long waits for ordering food and drinks. Staff members were polite and nice, but were not very available. I had to leave the till and come back a couple of times to get my orders in. I used to love this place and rave about the food, don't feel the same anymore. I really hope it's a one-off bad day - and it'll be better next time round! I'd still come for drinks and a quick bite.. I really like the setting and atmosphere of the restaurant in general and there is always nice music playing in the background.

Weird experience here. Great location/interior of pub is a great space but has the vibe of a pub on its last legs or in need of a bit of a refresh. Went a few weeks ago and despite being completely empty waited 45 mins for fries (pizzas came quicker but somehow still arrived cold). Staff not rude but seemed half asleep and looked at me like I was speaking French when I asked what was going on with the food - later just ignored customers trying to order drinks at the bar (all 3 bar staff in near empty bar continuing to clean coffee machine / wipe tables and just leaving customers waiting around ?). Feel like this place has great potential - the food menu, drinks selection and venue itself are all great but service just strange. Please sort it out as I am local and would love to come back !
