This light-filled space at Fitzrovia hotel The Principal boasts an outdoor terrace at one end and an indoor ‘winter garden’ at the other. Shabby chic interiors include banquette seating, rattan armchairs and a double-sided stone fireplace between the main space and the terrace. Palm Court exclusively serves an afternoon tea which is inspired by the original plans for Russel Square gardens, meaning each course has four ‘quadrants’ to it: four finger sandwiches, four freshly-baked scones and eight individual cakes. Scones here come in a variety of flavours, from classic to matcha and sesame, while other sweet treats include an apple and vanilla custard tart, and a yuzu and sesame macaron. Vegan, vegetarian and
