April 2024We stayed for one night, but they allowed us to leave our bags for a few hours before check-in and for most of the day after we had checked out which we really appreciated as we could go sight-seeing without carrying bags. The staff were particularly polite, helpful and welcoming and that was the key factor which made our stay excellent and it was all of them - the concierge, the receptionists, the restaurant staff. They treated everybody as if they were VIPs which takes some effort (even some short-tempered and rude guests), but this makes all of the difference. The rooms were very good, yes they might need refurbishing soon but they were clean and had complimentary water, soap, shampoo etc and it wasn't the cheapest type. The breakfast was excellent and there were more than enough staff to make sure a very busy restaurant provided everything people wanted. The location is superb. We would definitely stay here again and next time we are here the first thing we will do is check availability at this hotel before any others.

May 2024Great location, great place. Had a large, comfortable suite on the first floor. Close to the stairs, no need to take elevator. Hotel is right near a casino, but it was not loud at night (sound proof windows). The AC was not working entirely well, although it was on, which was not really fun ... especially when it is 27 outside and sunny. But, not the worst. The front desk folks are kind and always helpful. Weekend breakfast does have a bit of queue, sometimes, so I recommend getting there earlier. Neighborhood is great. Right by tube.

May 2024We recently spent twelve nights at this hotel. Great location, Gloucester tube station just across the street. Front desk, wait staff and housekeeping were professional, pleasant and accommodating. Booked a Club Double room which was very spacious, as well as, the bathroom; plenty of storage. Had the breakfast plan included with our room which consisted of a hot and cold buffet. We would recommend this hotel and plan to stay at this property again next year.

June 2024It is location location in London and this hotel has that, good neighborhood with an Underground Tube just a minute walk away. Lots of food, cafe and supermarket options around. The room is larger by London standards. However, they are really basic and dated. The air conditioning totally doesn't work or even come on. I could hear voices from the next rooms and kids and adults screaming in the hall way at night. Don't expect great views from the room.

June 2024Not the best, not the worst. Decent room. However it was a communicating one with another room and you could hear everything in the next room. Bathroom was not clean enough and the food we had there was average, nothing special. The location is nice as it is within steps of the metro and in decent walking range from main attractions in the area.
