Such lovely service! We booked for lunch, party of five on Easter Sunday. We were looked after beautifully. I am vegan, and the care and consideration of that fact was way above what I’m used to, in particular the lovely John; friendly, good humoured and professional. I don’t make a big deal out of being vegan, but he took care of it as well as making sure the rest of the party had what they needed. Lovely lunch and kudos to a fab staff, all of whom were very welcoming and an asset to the hotel.

Used the hotel when I attended an evening event at the nearby Watercress Line. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely use again. The Sunday carvery is very good.

booked a disability room over a year ago for our stay for a function last weekend (15/6/24). visited and confirmed prior to make sure it was fully disabled . rang the night before to confirm room still available and check on facilities of wet room. was told that there was no pull down seat but a little plastic stool. so i took our own shower chair as was a little nervous of their answer . upon arrival found that the actual bedroom entrance was extremely tight and my husband struggled to swing into the room due to not much turning room as corridor is narrow fortunately the room has patio doors which we were able to use . The actually room was nice enough a little tight but manageable . The bathroom again was tight maybe a manual wheelchair user would get their chair in but as a power use again the toilet was right by the door and it was a very tight squeeze . thank goodness took our own chair for the shower as the one supplied is extremely dangerous with no sides and very low. The only other issue was the bed it is quite low and mattress is very tired. The disabled toilet in the main hotel was not good again if you are wheelchair bound as again not enough room to turn chair . Lucky i had family near by who were able to help . On the whole the staff were friendly and helpful Hotel is nice and perfect spot. food was also good. My personal option is that i think the hotel could do with a little more understanding of disabilities as there are lots of difference issues for disable people and not all disabled people can walk . we would probably stay again if need to , now we know the issues for us and could be more prepared .

Absolutely terrible. I change room 3 times The first room had cigarette butts in the room The second room a burst water pipe whilst I was in the room, it was next to the boiler The third room was mold on the bathroom floor I didn’t even stay the night I just left, if you want clean and a comfy bed like I look for this place is far from clean
