Cancellation policy

Burontfields Hall reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee payable within 1 month of the cancellation. The cancellation fee shall be: 25% of the outstanding fees if the event is cancelled within 3 months of the booked event. 50% of the outstanding fees if the event is cancelled within 2 months of the booked event. 90% of the outstanding fees if the event is cancelled within 1 month of the booked event.

    It’s difficult to know where to start writing a review for Burtonfields Hall as a wedding venue. Everything about it is perfect. The venue itself is just breathtakingly beautiful and unforgettable for wedding party and guests alike. The level of detail in the stunning rooms plus the brilliance of Will (the owner) as a wedding coordinator could not be matched anywhere else I’m sure. Initially my daughter’s wedding was booked for summer, including the marquee but we changed the date for early December. I’m sure for a summer wedding it would be perfect, but also as a winter wedding, with roaring fires and Xmas trees it was incredibly atmospheric and intimate. The 9 guest rooms are all beautifully appointed and enabled us to just relax for the whole weekend. Will’s energy and organisational skills and ability to make everything appear seamless made the wedding day just perfect from start to finish. I would highly recommend Burtonfields Hall as a wedding venue and would give 10 stars if it was an option.

    Burtonfields Hall was absolutely the perfect wedding venue! We had a lovely January wedding, using a venue where we could have both the ceremony and the reception definitely gave us a safety net with regards to the weather. Guests that preferred to catch up away from the dancefloor could in the cosy sitting rooms infront of the fire, perfect for some of the family who haven't seen eachother in a while! We stayed the night of the wedding and all 9 rooms were absolutely beautiful and had everything you need, including the comfiest beds ever. It was so handy to have everything you might need for any situation during the day just upstairs. All the staff were absolutely incredible, but hats off to Will. The run up to our wedding was somewhat stressful, but never with regards to the venue. He answered every question over many months quickly, whether it was on email or a quick call. On the day of the wedding we never saw him stop or sit down once, he was always doing something to ensure we were having a fantastic day, whether that was helping organise registrars, stoking fires or clearing glasses. When we woke up the next morning, the house was back to spotless again, and we had a wonderful brunch in the dining room with all our overnight guests. Burtonfields is THE venue for a fuss free but fantastic wedding. All the prices were transparent and packaged all inclusive, so no hidden surprises. Plus we didn't have to worry about all the little fiddly decorations, as the Hall is already done up so beautifully. We wish we could go back to the day and relive it all again, but for now, every time we drive by on the A166 we will be remembering how perfect the day was. Fingers crossed we can attend as guests one day just to reminisce!
