A unique heritage venue, exclusively yours for your next event. Sulgrave Manor is the ideal meeting and conference venue, with 3 rooms to suit 2 to 100 delegates. Our rooms are pillar free, have ventilation and natural daylight, black out facilities and free Wi-Fi.
Our garden is yours to explore for the day and we have several areas for team building activities – so be as creative as you like.
As part of your time with us, you can enjoy a private tour of the manor house and garden.

August 2023Prebooked tickets for Sulgrave Manor, a little tricky to find but we'll worth it. Fabulously maintained and set out. The Washington exhibition was very interesting. The most impressive Manor house was very comprehensively set out and rooms decorated in the period of the day. Staff and volunteers wonderfully knowledge and give a brief talk roughly every hour. There was a brew house where you could have your coffee and cake bought from the little shop and entrance next door. It's in the heart of the country and you can here nature uninterrupted by sounds of traffic, as there is none. The orchard and gardens are wonderfully maintained with Apple themed days coming up in September.

October 2017A beautiful and fascinating venue. The tea room is amazing with a lovely selection of home made cakes that are worth the trip alone. Brilliant, friendly service and perfect setting.

August 2023Lovely place to visit, in a really pretty and tranquil setting. Nice and quiet, not overly busy and you can take your time wandering around. There are volunteers around to help and a talk is given before you go round the house which explains the history.

September 2023Not as busy as we anticipated, the ancestral home of the family of George Washington (the first president of the United States of America) offered insights into his family and upbringing leading him taking one of the most famous roles in the world. The house felt fresh and well cared for, the grounds were very neat and tidy. There are hot drinks and cakes/ices available from the entry shop, and lots of space to picnic. There was a an outdoor area for the children with stepping logs, make your own den, mud kitchen etc. The craft room was also open where kids can design a shield, make a 3D portrait or investigate historical photos, plus an art themed trail around the grounds kept them well entetained. For the adults, the current exhibition on George Washington was both interactive and informative with some wonderful artefacts. The Manor is about 10mins from the M40 Banbury junction, and would make a great stop off on a longer journey.
