A friend made a reservation at Brix for Sunday lunch. Despite its proximity, it was my first time dining there. To my delight, the Sunday Roast exceeded my expectations. I chose the vegetarian option, featuring butternut squash accompanied by all the traditional garnishes, along with a large Yorkshire pudding served on a separate dish. Others in our party enjoyed dishes like dry-aged sirloin and confit pork belly, while my partner selected a fish dish from a different menu. The food was very good. The desserts were enjoyable, though they didn't quite live up to the roasts. The decor boasted a charming industrial warehouse aesthetic. Our server was exceptionally accommodating. All in all, it was an excellent Sunday lunch experience.
