The rooftop garden, originally designed by Arabella Lennox-Boyd, takes its inspiration from Corbusier’s Fifth Elevation, bold and formal. The interior of the restaurant is sleek and elegant using rich walnut veneer wall panelling, Jura limestone flooring, soft leather chairs and mocha upholstered banquettes. Coq d’Argent sits high above the noise of the City, surrounded by a secret garden.

A masterclass in French cooking at its best, the restaurant is the ideal place to escape those day-to-day stresses and enjoy top-class food, discreet service, fine wines and the feeling of being well and truly taken care of. Coq d’Argent has a long established reputation for excellence, not only in the quality we bestow but also for the care and attention to detail displayed by the whole team.

An urban oasis above the noise of the City. Coq d’Argent has established itself as a long-time favourite with city workers and incomers alike thanks to exquisite French cuisine at its best with service and a wine list to match. Coq d’Argent boasts wraparound sun trap terraces and a huge secret garden with views across the city’s ever changing skyscape. It even has heated outside terraces and snow globes for those cosy up winters.

We had our work Christmas lunch here, which was a really nice treat! The food was exceptional, and the drink was top notch. We tried quite a few things on the menu and everyone was well pleased with what they had, while also being slightly envious of things that other people had chosen. We had an aperitif to start and then shared a couple of bottles of Chanlis with our meal. It was busy, but the service was attentive throughout, without being OTT. Would definitely recommend 👌

My expectations were low about this restaurant because of the negative reviews, but now I understand why people wrote negative reviews about it: jealousy. This place is absolutely stunning. The receptionist has been so lovely and caring with us, taking care of my flowers. The service as well has been impeccably perfect, the waitresses were always there to make sure we were fine. The food is DIVINE!!!! Guys you need to try this restaurant once in a lifetime. Burrata was absolutely delicious, the lamb shank: standing ovation. One of the best restaurants of D&D London group. Please congratulate on my behalf with all the staff also in the kitchen. Everything was perfect, we will be back for sure! Edit 2 hours later: we already booked Easter lunch there 😃

I haven’t been to Coq d’Argent for a few years now and that’s a mistake, I held a business dinner and I couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant My beef tartare was amazing, it was seasoned perfectly and presented amazingly as you can see in the attached picture My venison main dish was, hands down, the best venison dish I’ve ever had Usually, I wouldn’t go for a pudding but both of us couldn’t resist and it was great that we did go for it as they were just fantastic The service was brilliant- I was only a bit disappointed by the sommelier who pushed a wine that was over the budget I’ve asked for
