The Hoxton Shoreditch is one of the best places to go and work from if you’re looking for a change of scenery from your living room. They have a wonderful communal area where you can grab a coffee and work. There’s lots of seating which is perfect because it does get quite busy. They also have a really cool private space available for hire, called The Apartment, which is great if your whole team needs to go somewhere.
2. The Barbican Centre
This place is living proof that incredible workspaces don’t have to cost the earth. With free WiFi, ample public space, and loads of cafés to choose from, the Barbican will have you spoilt for choice. Just bring yourself, your laptop, and get ready to soak up the culture while you work. And, if you’re looking for somewhere special to celebrate, you can also rent spaces within the Barbican privately.
3. Artist Residence London
Another really cool hotel with some excellent public spaces is Artist Residence London. It’s another spot that you can sit in during the day and get some work done on your laptop. They don’t allow video calls though, so save this spot for a heavy admin day.
4. Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings
This restaurant venue is a super cool space. It has a restaurant, greenhouse, cookery school, and late-night bar. During the day, you can have your laptops out and get some work done in this light and airy space.
5. Look Mum No Hands
Come armed with your laptop, notebook, and a hardworking attitude. You can even bring your dog! The tables at Look Mum No Hands Old Street tend to get filled quite quickly, so make sure to get there early. No WiFi at lunchtime means you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy the café’s array of delicious food and drink. This venue is also available for private hire.
