Just came home from a weekend away with the guys for golf. This place is beautiful! The staff are extremely extremely helpful and welcoming. It's better than the Belfry I think as a resort and golf. Chris started us off for golf both days, and he was fantastic. Such enthusiasm and knowledge. I will be coming back any chance I get. I recommend highly.

Amazing time at Bolton woods hotel. Rooms were well lit with multiple lamp options. The bathroom was very clean however, the toilet didn't flush too well but worked. Beds were comfortable with multiple pillows if you needed more. The TV didn't have many options if you're one of those who like to get into bed at the end of the day to watch. Bar and restaurant were beautifully designed. Seating areas always available even when busy which was fab. All staff were really lovely except a lady called Sue. Some of our fellowship were bigging her up for her prompt service during a busy time for a wedding they held but she just wasn't nice at all. Very defensive and abrupt, no smile even if you tried to cheer her up. Hope she was okay either way. Overall, great time and we would love to return again

Great place to stay, beautiful gold course, a good gym, swimming pools and a restaurant. Breakfasts has a great selection of items, hot and cold. Coffee machines with to-go cups if you need one for the road. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The bed was huge had to call my wife if she was on the other side lol... but overall great stay would recommend it.

Had a great lads weekend golf trip. For the time of year and the weather we've had recently the course was in good condition. The rooms are very spacious and the food and drink were spot on. Victoria & Ewie also did a great job of looking after us in the claret jug bar after our rounds.

Just returned from a 1 night b&b and 2 rounds of golf, with 9 friends. Both golf courses were in excellent condition considering the amount of rain during the last 2 months. Rooms exactly what was required , the only downside was the evening meal arrangement each guest received £32 each off the menu any extras at their expense?we have been to several golf resorts on the same deal and been given a menu on arrival to tick off your requirements for dinner inclusive. The resort was quite busy with golf groups and spa guests but the main bar ran out of most beers during the evening!the only options being vastly expensive wine or shorts. Never been known on any of our other golf trips, did take the edge off what should have been a memorable experience.
