January 2024Our first visit to Paternoster chop house and were very pleased with the experience . It was very quiet probably due to a lack of money just after Christmas .Restaurants we passed in the local area were equally short on clientele. One downside of this was that some menu items such as Oysters and catch of the day were unavailable .However the food we had was very tasty and high quality.The service was good and the server gave a good recomendation for my steak . The overall cost was comparable with other restaurants in London .My wife chose the fixed 3 course menu which was very reasonable . Overall a good choice of venue for our overnight stay in town.

April 2024The food was good considering the more affordable price compared to others in the region. I ordered a steak sandwich for about £20 but the meat was hard to eat. Service and atmosphere were fine, though, with no St Paul view! Beware, they had such a view in their previous shop, not after moving into this one.
