March 2024We stopped by for a few drinks. Beautiful place. Well maintained. I have not been here for years. Loved the quirkiness of this old coaching inn, the wooden beams, the galley restaurant upstairs. Narrow staircase. Good beers. We will be back for dinner next time.

March 2024Traditional old British pub, full of local patrons on Sunday afternoon. The vibe was nice, warm and cozy, with bursts of laughter at times. First time in a pub, seems like you need to find a seat. Waitress/server was a bit cold and poker faced when I politely asked about seating. The bartenders were more welcoming and helpful, giving me a sip to try a recommendation of his before ordering the beer. Love the Golden George beer, light and fruity. They accept both cash and card.
