May 2024A great day out for all ages!!! There are plenty of monkeys to see and lovely locations for picnic. Would recommend purchasing tickets online in advance as they are cheaper. We were very fortunate with the overcast weather, I probably wouldn't recommend going when it is raining as most of the enclosures are outside. A well spaced out attraction where you can take each element of the park at your own pace; various outdoor play areas available for children to play. It brought back many great memories for me from when I was a child. Even thought the gift shop was fairly priced for a park gift shop.

May 2024We really enjoyed our day here seeing so many rescued apes. If you are hard of walking like myself it was a bit hard. They do have a mobility scooter hire scheme. But my booking was to short notice for that. But regardless the paths are even if all a bit steep. And there's lots of seating dotted around. So I really enjoyed it.

May 2024Fantastic day out for a wonderful cause. Huge enclosures for all primates which is great to see. Great to hear the staff doing talks throughout the day and lots of information on how the animals came to the sanctuary. Recommend booking in advance to save that little extra. Gift shop reasonably priced too. Can see new enclosures being built so will have to come back to see once finished!

June 2024Had a really good time at monkey world, all the animals were out playing or eating, the woolly monkeys are adorable and it was amazing watching the orangutan eating up close. Parking was easy and we didn’t have far to walk to the main entrance. I got serenaded by a dancing monkey which was the highlight of my visit.

May 2024Visit here every year since watching Monkey Life on TV, and it is nice to see them in real life knowing their stories and who is who in certain groups. This is a world wide rescue centre and yes like a zoo animals in cages is not right but our support and funding helps give these apes a better life than had been living before coming to the park and many being rehabilitated to go back into the wild and with the breading programs helping many that in the wild have been poached and one day could face extinction hopefully be avoided. My personal opinion in this imperfect cruel world that this rescue centre is a worthy cause and a place all the family will be touched by as every monkey and ape has its own personality and in the groups like in the wild has a higher arty...all beautiful and looked after..definitely recommend watching monkey life
