I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and attentive waiting staff who made me feel welcome and comfortable. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they were more than happy to provide recommendations and suggestions. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the sushi. The chef's creativity and skill were evident in every bite. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was exquisite. I particularly enjoyed the black cod dish with the creative presentation. The cod was cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was simply divine. I highly recommend trying this dish if you visit. For dessert, I indulged in the creme brûlée, and it was a true delight. The texture was creamy and smooth, and the caramelized sugar on top added a delightful crunch. It was one of the best creme brûlées I have ever tasted, and I couldn't help but savor every spoonful. The restaurant's atmosphere and lighting added to the overall ambiance of the evening. It was cozy and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The attentive staff, inventive sushi, and unforgettable desserts make it a must-visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a delicious meal, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations.

Quite a lively busy interior. The food was quite nice, service was quite slow but they gave us a side dish on the house as an apology for having to wait so long. The staff were overall rather attentive and was a pleasant experience even though we were there for a very long time. The wagyu beef was quite tender, the prawn tempura is definitely worth a try, and their desserts are mouth watering. Went for the creme brulee and the chocolate brownie with green tea ganache.

Extremely overrated. I've given it 2, solely for the food. The service was good - not great and the atmosphere was great. I went on my birthday for their Sunday brunch, considering the price (£91.50 each=£183), and the hype I expected my taste buds to be tingling- but it was lackluster. Visually everything looked lovely, but that was it. The first course was ok, not much flavour and no dishes that I felt like I wanted to eat more of, I'm sitting here trying to remember if I particularly liked any dish, but I don't think so. 2nd course (mains- no sides) we got the steak (medium-rare) and the ribs, so we could try both. I am a massive steak girl, and I can't tell you the disappointment in that steak, it just wasn't a good steak, the only good thing, it wasn't tough. And the ribs I had one bite and left the rest, it was just dry and flavorless. 3rd course (dessert) looked amazing but was the same as the 1st course, ended up leaving things on the plate- and I wasn't full. The unlimited wine wasn't bad, everyone seems to add elderflower syrup to it, maybe they should invest in a sweet wine option. I'm used to better service, there's so much staff you'd expect your glasses to be topped up without asking, but no, we ended up only having a glass and a half by the end of our time. This doesn't really matter, but they were aware it was my birthday yet there was absolutely no acknowledgement, not even a happy birthday from our waitress. I feel like it must've been an off day or something as I just don't understand. But definitely not worth the money. This was meant to be the highlight of my day, but I had better tasting food for breakfast at cafe east (Roman road, waffles are the BEST just amazing) and (pizza) at fairgame that evening. I would definitely recommend sticks n sushi in Canary wharf over ROKA.

Really lovely delicate food. In the heart of Canary Wharf, staff was good and the restaurant was lovely, the taste was great but maybe not as outstanding as I had hoped for the price we are paying. £400 for four of us and we felt whilst the meal was good, there are room for improvement.

I usually come for lunch, visited for dinner three months ago, and decided not to return due to excessively loud music. However, since Mayfair was fully booked. Last week, I returned with two friends for an 8 pm dinner. The music was too loud regardless of where we sat, finally we found a quieter table near the front bar. Despite the challenging conversation due to the loud music, the food was slow. We ordered a variety of vegetables and broccoli was undercooked ended up with spending 3.5 hrs for the meal. I like the ladies serving at the front bar area; they were superb—efficient, fast, and sweet, making our evening relaxed and enjoyable. Much appreciated!
