Marvelous lunch at Veeno Chester. As regular food and wine was astounding to such an extent my companion purchased 3 jugs of the wine we were drinking. We were looked out for by the most beautiful young lady called Peace, she was mindful without being in your face, and learned... presumably I will be back there again soon 🍷

Amazing food, we had the Grande sharer and it was divine. Had a guest white wine and was kindly offered tasters of a few others. Really knowledgeable staff, very friendly but not overbearing at all. Mocktails were delicious too! Will be coming back again. Thank you to Marco who also gave advice on some great supermarket wines to try as well!

This was a small little bar, that had a very chilled atmosphere about it- which was just what my friends and I needed. Our waitress was lovely and friendly and very knowledgeable when telling my friends about the wines they were drinking on their wine/ cheese and nibbles tasting experience, and also on the food that accompanied them. Will definitely be visiting here again when next in Chester.

Attended upstairs for a private function. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The appetiser selection and Pizzas were very good. Unfortunately the room became hot very quickly and the AC was unable to provide a comfortable environment. Get this fixed and it would be 5stars .

Excellent, intimate little Italian restaurant in the shadow of Chester cathedral. Food was very tasty and hot, the red wine that we had was wonderful and very reasonably priced. Service was quick, efficient and the staff were friendly - please try it for yourselves !!!

Good wine but snooty staff. On arrival we were informed there was an hour wait for food. This amazed us as the only food they do seems to be antipasti: how can it take an hour to artfully arrange meat & cheese on a board?! Also they don't have a proper coffee machine but one which uses "pods" - rather a letdown for a place that styles itself as continental. Overall unimpressed.

A message for Imogen for her attentiveness, warmth and personality whilst serving us fantastic wine and food to share. Sitting perched high in a window eating, drinking and people watching, so relaxing. Make a visit to Veeno, the staff team will look after you. Enjoy.

Good staff, the female manager (can’t remember her name) was amazing and very accommodating. She makes the best toasties!

Fantastic place great food, great wine, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Abby the waitress was brilliant and very knowledgeable.

we had lunch here a few days ago, Abbie served us she was a breathe of fresh air and new her wines, she recommended 2 and she was so right at picking the one we would like best. Great food great wine (we brought three bottles away with us) great atmosphere. Thanks Veeno you got it PERFECTO
