Myself and a friend just stayed at this hotel. We went with the bed, breakfast, spa and dinner package. Before going I was quite apprehensive due to some of the mixed reviews I had seen but we weren’t let down by any part of our experience. Yes the spa facilities are quite small but we went on a Sunday night and we had no problem gaining access to anything. Our room was a good size and the room had everything you would need. The beds were so comfortable and the room itself smelt so clean and the black out curtains made for an excellent nights sleep. The drinks are on the expensive side but that’s to be expected. The bartender, very sadly can’t remember his name, was amazing! Really friendly and so bubbly. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was really good, again much better than we had expected. I had steak that was cooked to absolute perfection. We also had breakfast in the morning which again was of amazing quality. One of the best buffet breakfasts I have had in a hotel in a long time, food all seemed very freshly cooked. Our package included a massage in the morning which again was above expectations. The ladies really know what they’re doing, it was so relaxing but also helped massively with some issues I have with my back. This was a very overdue weekend away for us and we are so grateful that everything was so good.

A huge THANK YOU to Constantin for all his wonderful help on our Wedding Day on Friday 10th May 2024. He was incredible from start to finish and made us feel at ease throughout our entire stay. We will never forget how his presence on our special day made us feel and how grateful we were to have had him there. The location of this venue is lovely, the food was tasty and we were really impressed with the rest of the staff members and how well we were looked after. The Bridal suite is lovely, although quite dated and had a few issues with heating/air cons in our room and those of our guests. The private breakfast the next day was absolutely perfect with our guests and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend for our Wedding! Thanks again Constantin and all the staff :)

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for two nights to have some relaxation and spa time. Sadly, we were quite underwhelmed but luckily made the most of it. The location was lovely, the building is beautiful but it’s lacking in all other aspects. Describes the spa as “luxury” - it’s definitely not luxury. It’s very small, not well kept and what you’d expect at a small local gym. I wouldn’t recommend this for a spa getaway. The food and drink was very overpriced (we’re from London, so used to overpaying) but this was not worth it. They only had two cocktails from the menu available and no olives during our stay. We made the decision to eat elsewhere when we tried the bar food, which judging by reviews of the restaurant was a good decision. The room was basic but fine, had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. If this was a cheap place, I’d say it was okay but it’s really not value for money.

Lovely location & building that's all... but don't waste your money in there, as upon arrival, it's recommended not to wear comfortable clothes, as you'll find yourself in a space much tighter & worth way less than what you paid for especially if you have booked a deluxe room! Despite the unfriendly demeanor of the hotel receptionist, the manager offered a generous discount to address our profound disappointment with the room's condition. The whole experience left my husband feeling cheated out of his money. Regrettably, this experience tarnished my husband's carefully planned 10th anniversary surprise for me However, the shining light of our stay was the exceptional service we received at the restaurant. Jack and supervisor Ben provided truly outstanding and attentive service, making our dining experience delightful. The food itself was of deluxe quality, adding a memorable touch to our otherwise disappointing stay. Unfortunately, the room lacked any special touches, you can find at a standard chain hotel room. The only notable features was the decent mattress!!! (Thanks God for that) let's not forget exactly eight teabags, a few dried-out coffee and sugar sachets, and a couple of mini biscuits, hardly living up to our expectations. The spa and pool area were average at best, with receptionists who seemed to have lost the well to live and deal with another human being & just want to go home!

    - Room was too hot. Radiator could not be turned off despite turning the knob all the way in either direction. Could not sleep due to intense heat. Found a fan in the room, which was dusty, loud and ineffective. - Shower gel in room was very watery in consistency, probably due to dilution with water. - Spa was just a small unsupervised communal pool (children present). Loud, not relaxing at all. Very small sauna and steam room, max capacity about 4 squashed in. - Overall decor of hotel very dated. Not at all worth the cost. Probably would not stay here again for free.
