Located in the historic market town of Diss on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk, and at the gateway to the Waveney Valley, the Corn Hall is an impressive Grade II listed building which was originally built as a corn exchange.

In 2017 a £3.4m regeneration project was completed in the ‘Heritage Triangle’ in Diss, of which the Corn Hall was a key focus. The result is a vibrant venue featuring the main hall, a cafe, a bar, 2 gallery spaces and a studio/meeting room. The spaces are flexible with a range of technical equipment installed and are available to hire for corporate events, weddings, parties, classes, workshops and so on.

I attended a work meeting with 15 colleagues and we had plenty of space in the upstairs room. There was a large screen to connect a laptop to for presenting and the WiFi signal is good, and free. The toilet facilities are so clean and easily accessible. There is an area on the landing we used for refreshments and socialising. The café downstairs serves nice hot and cold food/drink options and fairly priced. The staff are fab, being friendly, cheerful and very helpful. Having been to this venue on three occasions, I would definitely recommend it.

Always a great venue to see theatre, live music, comedy etc Queuing system needs sorting- audience currently line up through the bar / restaurant area which restricts access for people wanting food / drink
