A great place to visit with lots of history and fascinating tunnels and other surprises. Good for kids and adults alike. Free to enter. Paid parking outside.

We are local do this place so we go quite frequently but on this occasion we were extremely lucky to go there when there was a D-Day exhibition. I cannot praise the organisers and the staff involved and the people who contributed enough. It was one of the best days we've had. Even on normal days there is so much to learn and it's fascinating to walk around. Also it's free entry just a small charge for the car park.

Excellent and well presented history of Portsmouth and the wars it has been in. Lots of history in terms of exhibitions especially the artillery items, as for that rail gun well it's so long and big..... the lord of Darkness was impressed with the rail and train wheels, I liked how big it was.... On site cafe and shop, clean tidy toilets, parking for disabled is a bit limited but there was a field area for parking so it wasn't so bad. £3.00 to park and free entry. Highly recommended to visit here.
