Sand Martins Golf Club is the perfect venue for your wedding reception.
The driveway will take you through the impressive golf course grounds to the striking Georgian-style clubhouse where you will spend one of the most important days of your life. The venue’s spacious south-facing patio is the perfect place to enjoy a few drinks in the summer sun and offers stunning backdrops for some of your treasured wedding photos.
The private function room on the first floor boasts its own bar and balcony, providing unrivalled panoramic views across the golf course. The space can hold up to 110-day guests and up to 150 for the evening celebrations. Our flexible rooms also lend themselves to smaller occasions perfectly. Our team of talented chefs, led by Tim Mackenzie, will create the most divine dishes for your wedding breakfast.
We only use the finest, locally sourced produce available to provide a stunning meal of the highest quality. Whether you’re planning for a formal three-course meal, a barbeque, hog roast or a buffet, our chefs can cater to your personal tastes and requirements.

May 2024The team at Sand Martin's made my 60th birthday party on Saturday so memorable. I had the best time. The set up was exactly as agreed, and any extras we needed the guys sorted very efficiently on the evening itself. All my friends and family had a fantastic time, very much enjoyed the food (so much of it and delicious) and everyone at the club made us feel so welcome. Tasmin (I hope I got the name correct) and her team were just lovely , worked so hard all evening and found time to look after my Mum and Mum in law very well. I will definitely be recommending your venue to everyone.

May 2024First time I've played it, and I have heard good things. I wasn't disappointed. Don't get me wrong, this is not a golf course up there with the best. But it is in comparable condition to the best. The green staff have done a superb job. We have had some awful weather of late, and all golf courses have suffered and at points had to close. Sand Martins would have been no different, but it was in great condition all things considered. I don't know what the membership fees are, but the members should be very happy that their money is clearly being spent in the right places to have the course in that condition. I will be making a point of coming back during a better spell of weather to see the course at its best. I had gammon, egg & chips after and it was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I've given it 4 stars because 5 stars is reserved for places like Sunningdale, Turnberry, Troon and the like. Really well done Sand Martins.

June 2024Great venue. Ours was a wake after my cousins funeral. Staff were friendly, attentive. Food was amazing and plentiful. Very professional. Fulky recommend for any gathering.
