This is review is only for the cafe within Cambo estate. Visited for the first time and to be honest it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. The staff are beyond useless. We were ignored for 10-15min while we sat at a table after being advised someone would be over to take our order. No menus provided. Eventually had to go up to the counter and order. Watched as other customers were seated, provided with menus, water for the table and orders taken. Far too expensive for what you get. Soup and a scone £7.95 albeit, both were flavoursome. The building is absolutely freezing so wear a jacket! Doubt i’ll be back to the cafe but grounds/gardens are excellent and staff in the shop are lovely.
