October 2021What an amazing the the Dog & Duck bar is in this hotel, I am local to Harrogate and didn't know yo could just pop in for a drink. But I'm glad we did, great ambiance, cheaper than most other places in Harrogate for drinks and the staff were amazing, really friendly, chatty and good for a laugh. There's also a snooker table and gin bar! We will be back here!

October 2021A new favorite hotel - historic, cozy, quiet, well-appointed, perfectly located, and a spotless and roomy bathroom. So many lovely nooks and crannies throughout the main floor to have tea and a chat or read a book when it rains. Parking for a fee, but worth it for the convenience. Helpful, courteous, professional staff. Hope to see you again soon!

October 2021My friend and I decided on a Shearings Harrogate/York mini break, but after an arduous journey we were slightly sceptical about the St George Hotel. We were pleasantly surprised, as the hotel was excellent. Beautifully decorated, the furnishings were of a high standard. We were allocated room 312 for the duration of our stay: the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfy, with linens of a good quality. The staff were wonderful; nothing was too much trouble and they added to the enjoyment of our stay, we couldn't thank them enough!!! The breakfast was great and the staff very attentive. The three course evening meal was excellent and delicious. I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the wonderful staff; who made our stay exceptional ... I can highly recommend and can't wait to return

August 2021Lovely Hotel, breakfast was lovely, strange smell in bedroom though. Liked the little chic extras. Phone, alarm clock, and pictures in the room. Loved the vegan toiletries. Good location for the town. A little expensive. limited parking @£6.00 per day on a first come first served spaces.
