We had been walking along the towpath of the Leeds & Liverpool canal and there was a sign outside inviting walkers and canal users to come in for refreshments. We thought it would be rude not to drop in for tea. The staff were friendly, service was quick and the tea and coffee were good.

Nice location and really good proximity to Skipton centre and the Leeds to Liverpool canal. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was a good size. It was a bit tired in some areas and are in need of some investment in the near future. The breakfasts were fine but really would like the buffet style to be reintroduced at some point.

Friendly staff, comfy bed and excellent breakfast, was our 3rd time staying at the hotel but was not as good as previous stays. Had a email sent couple of days before our stay saying due staff isolating we had to check in 2 hours later than previously told and check out 1 hour earlier which reduced our stay time. Room was not as clean as hoped for because when we closed curtains we found sweets behind them and there was stains up the wall at side of dressing table. Evening menu was very limited and people were leaving restaurant due to the lack of choice

Stayed here a few times now on a deal. Always enjoy our stays here. Food excellent. Great hotel but had to pay several supplements to stay in Aug/weekend which made it a little more expensive than I wanted to pay. Overall a lovely stay & would recommend. Staff are super helpful and a credit to the hotel. Well done to all.

Nice place, comfy beds, breakfast was really good. Nice view of canal from room. Would have been 5 stars.. just a bit pricey 👍
