Staff friendly and nothing was too much trouble . The food was well presented, and plentyful. Breakfast was buffet style . Spa facilities good, staff helpful and friendly , Only criticism was that WiFi at end of the block we were in was poor and variable ...public areas different again.. Parking in and around hotel good ..

The pool was very clean and the spa services were good. We had a great hot stone massage. Our room was cold upon arrival but a second heater did the trick. Food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was really good.

A murder mystery meal and overnight stay here. Brilliant value. £149 for a room, a murder mystery, a 3 course meal , a superb breakfast and use of the swimming pool. 4 stars not five ? Because the rooms are a little 'worn '. Nothing terrible, just worn carpets and flaking paint on the windows, certainly not worth worrying about as our room was spotlessly clean, with kettle/tea/coffee & biscuits. Great shower and bath. Huge comfortable bed. And .... in truth, the murder mystery players weren't great, fun, but not great !!! This was a drag murder mystery ... our meals were absolutely fine, wine well priced for a hotel, staff lovely. Breakfast was exceptionally good, huge buffet choice - we ordered veggie sausages which never arrived, but there was plenty of veggie food to choose from. No height barriers, ample parking spaces. Would book again.
