Centrally located and within easy walking distance from the train station. Rooms getting tired, and bathrooms desperately need attention. Housekeeping could be improved, some surfaces dusty, shower curtain smelly and grouting stained. Good selection at breakfast.

The location has seen better days but the Hotel is totally different. Our suite was value for money though needed to be checked more regularly as it had wine stains on the floor. The management did offer to move us. I couldn't fault their customer service .

I love the place...It's homely, beautiful and classic. The receptionist is awesome, she was ready to help as I didn't even expect her to sacrifice her time for my own mistake. She did made me comfortable

Friday February 2nd, check-in was friendly enough, all information regarding the location of my room, bar and restaurant politely explained. The room was a little tired looking, the table lamp did not work and the free standing lamp had a broken bulb in it. The bathroom was a little tight, the vent was dirty as was the toilet, having taken a shower my fingers became stuck in the towel, looking properly the towel had 3 holes in it, not good whi h goes to prove that whoever tidied the room didn't check the towels correctly, shower rail needs replacing. Breakfast was adequate, good range of cold options, easy to use coffee machines, the hot options were OK, service was good and provided with a smile. This was my first stay and so not the best first impression, they have work to do to improve.

Come here every year for the New Year's Eve comedy night organised by the Big Mouth Comedy club. Rooms are clean and comfortable, venue/conference room was spacious and well set out, food was delicious and staff were very helpful. Loved every minute.
