Great size room (No 15) quietly located at the back of the building and whlst by the lane we didn't find it noisy at all... The room was perhaps a little dated but super clean and most importantly a very comfy bed! A big shout out to the amazingly friendly and welcoming receptionist Fiona... A great old building with some history to it and they do a pretty good breakfast to!

I might recommend they open up breakfast past 10am if they’re going to situate guests in rooms above the wedding function room that kept us up past 2am. I would have relaid this feedback in person at reception this morning but the girl taking our key wasn’t bothered with any kind of communication, let alone asking us how our stay was. Really poor service

Lovely place, fantastic room, we stopped in the bridal suite, 4 poster bed, roll top Bath, and it was quite cheap too, nice real ale pub up the road, great breakfast well recommended

Daughters wedding was excellently organised. Thankyou so much to Dean and staff who were kept very busy. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely location helped by the gorgeous September weather. Our room was okay (in the courtyard) ...a little dated but fine for one night. Our bed was big and comfortable..but husband a very light sleeper could hear a buzzing all night. Nevertheless would visit again.

Visited for a wedding. Staff very helpful and polite. Our room wasn't the most looked after in the world and was very dusty. We were in the annexe courtyard part of the hotel. Hotel was pleasant enough but a little dated and in need of a bit of TLC.
