Dating back to 1600, our new stylishly designed 48 bedroom hotel has both the elegance and versatility for a romantic wedding with all your family and friends, or for a more intimate gathering with your loved ones. Lovely place. Stunning building. Views were lovely.Our room was a good size only problem with that was that the shower drainage was blocked . So therefore water was overflowing the shower tray when taking a shower. Toilet flushed but took a few flushings to get rid of waste. Also I wasn’t very impressed with my evening meal. I had the turkey dinner which was £22 a plate and it tasted like microwave food very tasteless. Nothing on the plate was fresh either all frozen. Over priced for what you get.

Stayed one night . The room was lovely and plenty of room only let down was lighting and lack of plug sockets there was also a balcony which was nice however wasnt impressed with the security of the door ??. We didn't visit the restaurant. The spa area was OK all a bit tired . The breakfast was self service and was average.

Stayed here for one night on the weekend. The hotel itself was very pretty and the decor inside the hotel was lovely. The lady at check in was not overly friendly. In our room the plug points didn't work apart from one and only one lamp worked, I told the lady at reception (the same one from check in) that they weren't working to be told that there is nothing she can do about it and tough basically. The spa was okay, however there was only about 4 seats around the pool area, so if your hoping to go there and lay by the pool and relax, this is not the place. The location is good if your happy to be out of the way, there is nothing within walking distance. Overall the stay was good for the cost.

Fantastic place. We had room one- a master suite and it was gorgeous. Great sitting area, huge bathroom and bedroom. We had a meal in the terrace bar which was nice- but really cold so that would be one minor complaint. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. I would higher recommend this place and go on treat yourself to the suite!
