First visit. Relatively easy to get to. Room was of a good quality. Easy to use shower. Good quality breakfast. Nice bar area. Reasonably priced

It's hard to believe the Link and Burleigh Court have the same management. When trying to call the Link I rang several times only to have the phone ring off every time. Walking past reception during the stay, there were sometimes 3 staff there, chatting away with the phone ringing and no one answering.ⁿ The rooms are poorly soundproofed, I could hear a conversation in the room opposite. The breakfast was good and the lady taking names was friendly.

The location was perfect for my conference on Loughborough University campus; quite far away from the city centre. The service was perfectly fine. For some reason, the double room had a sum total of two drawers, one of which was full up of hairdryers, leaving almost no room for clothes. There were also no plug sockets by the bed, so badly designed for actual use.

The staff were nice but that was the only good thing. Two of my work colleagues were bitten by bed bugs. Myself and the other 4 workmates checked out a couple of hours later and went to another hotel. We had to wait 2 hours for a table for dinner even though there were less than 10 people in the restaurant, they had an agency chef who couldn't cope with a lot of people. Like I said earlier, the staff were nice but that was all and I'll never stay here again.

I used this hotel as a business overnight trip. The rooms are very basic and after using their tiny gym I needed a hot shower, however there was none. I had to have a cold shower, not happy. I informed the manager who told me to run the water for 15mins, I’d already done this before I opted for a cold shower. I woke the next day hoping for a hot shower but still no hot water. The restaurant and menu was also very basic, my pint of coke was flat and my pudding was disgusting. By now I’m totally fed up of complaining. The decor throughout is dated and tired, the carpet throughout is awful too. Thankfully I won’t be coming back.
