I only used the hotel for a spa day booked via Natasha. Was an excellent day in on a cold day out, the spa facilities were amazing, which came with a head, back and shoulder massage all for £50. Me and my girlfriend would definitely use again and reccomend a spa day here. See you soon Natasha!

Located on the pristine coastline, The Atlantic Hotel is a four-start hotel which we found very welcoming, upon arrival we where able to park outside the hotel for free providing we give the registration of the car to reception, the front of house was very clean, the staff well-spoken and asked if we would like a hand with our belongings. The Lady on reception was extremely knowledgably and informed us of all the local hotspots and best places to eat, she then said “if you decide to dine with us, you will not be disappointed, the food is fantastic”, we were presently suppressed and instantly felt welcome. We stayed in B3 with a bay view, the room was loverly, clean and better than expected, the only downside was the cables dropping down from the flat screen TV on the wall which had Freeview with an excellent picture. The shaver point was not working. We dinned out for a few nights which was very nice and the locals were very welcoming and chatty. We decided to dine in mainly because of the friendly lady on reception who was EXCELLECT. For food we ordered the following e.g. Fowey River Mussels & Ham Hock Terrine and Ham Hock Terrine. The mussels were cooked perfect, the ham hock terrine was still frozen, apart from that he mussels went down well, I left halt of the ham hock terrine. We ordered a bottle of Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne at a cost of £280 this was overpriced by £100; it was nice and it was great starter. Next, we ordered or main’s, Chicken Supreme and Wild Mushroom Risotto, the chicken supreme was cooked to perfection, the Wild Mushroom Risotto was WET, soggy and not nice, my fiancée left the dish as a result. Would we staff again, YES, the staff are the best part of this hotel, the rooms are very spacious and clean, the sauna, stream and swimming pool are very nice with a sea view. If you’re thinks of a few nights away, trust me you will not regret it, the Atlantic Hotel is fantastic.

Location-wise, this hotel hits the spot, making it convenient for exploring the area. However, the breakfast options for vegans were severely lacking, which was disappointing. The room itself was comfortable, but the oversized pillow didn't suit my preferences, affecting my sleep quality. Although the swimming pool was closed, the steam room, sauna, and hot tub were enjoyable and well-maintained. Parking seemed ample initially, but the presence of unmarked rocks as boundaries proved hazardous, resulting in damage to my car's front bumper. Despite this setback, the hotel overall is pleasant, with courteous staff both at reception and in the breakfast area. Considering the price paid, it was a decent deal, but improvements in vegan options for breakfast and better parking safety measures would enhance the experience significantly. Additionally, the cost to repair the damage to my car's front bumper has added to the overall expense, which unfortunately affected the enjoyment of my trip.
