Set within six acres of beautifully manicured grounds, with stunning views of the Stroud Valley and Canal, Stonehouse Court Hotel offers the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.
Whether you are planning a smaller wedding with 10 guests, or a more elaborate celebration, our experienced team can accommodate your requirements to give you the day of your dreams.
We have a number of function rooms available, from our intimate dining rooms for 25 people, to larger spaces for groups of up to 150. We can also arrange for a marquee in our stunning grounds, accommodating up to 250 of your guests. We offer exclusive use of the hotel, meaning you can relax and enjoy the day without any interruptions.
We are licensed for civil ceremonies, allowing you to have your service and reception in one location. We have a range of suites available and in the summer months you can make your vows outside in our pretty pagoda.
Our hotel has an award-winning restaurant, wine and lounge menus and plenty of communal areas in which to relax. We have 36 individually designed bedrooms including four-poster rooms, perfect for any guests who would like to make the most of your celebrations by staying overnight.

September 2024I recently photographed a surprise proposal at Stonehouse Court and loved how friendly and helpful the staff were. They set everything up beautifully for the client and even added music to make everything that little bit more romantic. Gemma was the events manager and she came over to let me know which way my couple would be walking and where to hide. She made sure everything was perfect and put their favourite champagne on ice for them. It was really beautiful and I do hope to work here again soon.

August 2024Stone house court hotel. Yes it sounds very posh does it not ? Part of the hotel is from the 1600s and there's the other part. Hmmmm OK not as classy! However . Then there's the staff if my staff worked this hard they have a job for life! The staff are fabulous 👌 there's a waiter who has only been doing the job for 2 weeks . Well he's the least experienced young lad who works dam hard. As for the rest of your staff Amazing thank you. Your bosses are dam lucky to have you. Not like anyone from your chain will take the time to read this. But to us customers your staff are fabulous and need looking after. Nothing was any trouble. I never heard one staff member complane or moan . Thank you for a great stay. And I just have to finish with this . I will be back! 😊

September 2024We just stayed on night in this historical house, the atmosphere is sending you several centuries in the past, the service is very welcome and great. From the food side it was good with good choices except for the wines, poor choices and quality, so far from the level that we can expect from such places! The bad surprise came from the breakfast, that was good itself but the guest around us were so noisy (weeding organized the day before), so much noise like in a pub... we expected beter and such place deserves better. We would like to recommend but not sure unfortunately...

July 2024Not one to usually leave a bad review. However deposit was taken at the beginning of the year for two rooms. Upon arrival it was found to have an issue with the shower in my room with the shower head being held in place on the rail by a tie wrap. The Management were were aware of the issue prior to our arrival, as this was supposed to be a temporary fix. I advised of the situation with staff over the weekend and advised nothing could be done. I was assured that management would call by various members of staff. After my stay and leaving numerous messages for the operations manager. I had an email advising that nothing could be done as they did. It feel that the shower issue would have been a detrimental issue with my weekend stay and a 10% discount offered on my next visit. Not good enough for weekend stay at £310.00 For two nights. Plenty of other options in the area to be considered next time
