Staff were lovely and friendly but unfortunately the food did not match up for quality. Not to my taste- we went expecting the usual Holt Lodge menu with carvery and traditional restaurant food but everything was curried or spiced. Even the fish and chips had a curry aroma. Unfortunately won't be returning.

Arrived to some lovely smiles and welcome. The food was well prepared and presented. The service was excellent and not "overbearing" and politeness etc. came naturally to the staff. Overall an excellent experience and good value. Will be back.

No food available Sunday night or Monday morning. Room unbeatably hot, decor poor.

The staff are so accommodating, they couldnt have done anymore for us. The food is incredible. Rooms lovely and clean. We will definitely be returning!

Service is extremely slow, yet friendly. Starters & main were of a good standard however dessert tasted cheap and microwaved . Pleasant place, could do with either air con or ventilation especially on a hot day
