Really quaint, romantic room with 4 poster bed and antique furniture. Lovely and warm and en-suite had a bath as well as a shower. Staff very attentive. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Lounge and bar area had beautiful paintings and old beams and copper top bar. Only negative is the £10 a night car parking fee which seems excessive

1 night stay, beautiful building with loads of cosy charm. Entrance reception area let down first impressions as carpet very grubby. Also £10 payment for car parking for residents was disappointing. Room was clean and full of character but was extremely warm despite no heating being on. Kettle had lots of limescale and only 1 coffee pod supplied. Bathroom was clean and spacious, lack of toiletries , eg no shower cap or hand lotion but overall was very pleased with room. Evening meal was enjoyable and staff were attentive but lacked some knowledge, wine was poured without asking if wanted to taste first.Breakfast was good. We would definitely return but think for 4 star rating and room rates some improvement needed. Overall an enjoyable stay

Lovely place to stay and visit the beautiful areas surrounding. The food is delicious a bit pricey but still yum. Going onto the rooms they are good and sound proofed. You get the usual iron, kettle, mugs, tea and coffee. The only problem is they give you wooden sticks instead of a spoon. How can you stir with a stick. Please give us spoons. I should carry a spoon in future. Lovely inn, lovely nights sleep. Thank you

Popped in for a quick stop. Didn't know what to expect as never been before. Very elegant place but they really made us feel welcome. Good coffee to.
