We had a Sunday roast here last Sunday and were so impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Was the best roast I can remember in such a long time and the staff were so efficient and welcoming. Pub is in a beautiful location by the river and has a nice atmosphere inside. Will be back :)

I went here for a girlfriend's birthday meal and we were blown away by the quality of the food. The service was excellent, the waitress Rosie served us with a friendly face and was very efficient. The prices very reasonable considering the standard of the food. I would highly recommend.

Stayed in room 12 and it was delightful! Room was clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was comfy. Staff quickly fixed a minor heating issue. We were impressed by the facilities with the restaurant, pub, rooms and coffee hut. Location was great - 5 mins to town, albeit up a short, steep hill. Breakfast was delicious and the pub restaurant food was faultless. Will definitely return. Thank you for a pleasurable stay.

I left poor review about 4 months ago because we were disappointed with service and the fact the kitchen always seemed to be closed even when they should have been open. However, we were told that are two new award winning chefs taking over so we returned this evening for a meal. I must say that both the service and the food was exceptional. There has been a significant improvement in both. There was a good variety on the menu, and it was difficult to choose. Everything that we saw coming out of the kitchen looked exceptionally. We got talking to other people in the restaurant and no body had a bad word to say about anything. We are looking forward to returning to try more of this exceptional menu. Well done to all involved.

Very cute location, right on the river with plenty of outdoor seating. The inside was completely booked and the car park was overflowing, making it a little difficult to access with a car. The outside bar was pleasant, but unfortunately didn’t seem to have draught beer.
