Nice n cool Place. It was used to be full of life before Covid. Hope back in action again. Been there many times to enjoy music concerts. Well managed n well maintain. Helpful staff. Find out things easy by signings.

The three stars is partly down to the lack of food options once inside the venue and the staff within the theatre bar. The taco bar inside takes 10 minutes plus to prepare food and the bar doesn’t have any snacks. I had to ask repeatedly for a different can of beer at the bar after mine was dropped by the server in front of me. (Disappointing). The theatre itself is lovely; great seats, good acoustics and lovely interiors.

My first time at the National Theatre. Came to see Paradise.. a modern take by Kai Tempest on an ancient Greek story.. Wonderful atmosphere and terrific acting by the cast. Seating at the top of the stalls but had a wonderful view.. Definitely recommended..

I love NT, especially the Olivier theatre. I can honestly say I've never seen anything there I didn't love. And I've been there 12 times. This time we went to see "Paradise ". I read the reviews after I'd booked, and was concerned. All I can say: Don't trust reviews!

Front of house service is a total shambles for anything except a drink at a bar. Even COVID can't excuse this level of chaos just to get a cup of coffee. If its OUR National Theatre, then WE deserve better. I was going to donate to their appeal until I experienced the front of house treatment. The play was great though. Other aspects of your 'visitor experience' are important too, NT.
