I have stayed at this hotel one night a week for work for the last 3 months with the exception of two weeks where I tried other hotels (Best Western & Premier Inn). The reception staff are very efficient and helpful and offer a warm welcome. The bar staff are the best in the business. They are profession but friendly and always greet you with a smile and are very attentive. The food is of a great quality and the Mangalore chicken curry is in my opinion the best in Essex. The restaurant staff for breakfast are friendly, polite and efficient but lack the charisma of the bar team. As I said, I have tried two other local hotels in the area but keep coming back as no other hotel rivals the Marriott for cleanliness, professionalism, value for money and a free car park with more than enough parking you don’t need to worry about turning up late unlike other hotels in the area.

Been coming here over the years. Great location good customer service. Room was clean. Could do a bit of a touch up on the rooms. A/c was kinda loud when on. Breakfast is great quality. Self service with the breakfast. The leisure centre is nice. There is 3 swimming pools. One for swimming, one for the kids and one pool to relax in. The swimming pools are small could be a bit bigger. There is sauna and steam room which are clean and average size. Unfortunately the only thing that Is missing is a jacuzzi. There is a spa bath in the bathroom in the hotel room but unfortunately it's not that powerful and kinda smells. There are few bits could do with improvement hence why the 4 star. Overall I would recommend this place for a night away.

Our visit to the Marriott in Waltham Abbety has been excellent. Hotel has been meticulously kept well & staff (Victoria) provided us with an amazing tour for our clients event). We appreciate herself going above and beyond to assist us during our visit. On behalf of our company, we Highly recommend!

This is a great place to meet up, very close to the M25 and ideal for business meetings. The lunch menu and food will quality is great. The staff are very helpful too.

Popped in for a drink here. Nice sitting options in the bar area, comfortable seats. Well spaced out tables. Good service from the bar staff. Overall a nice hour spent having a drink.
