Gibbon Bridge was established in 1982 when Janet Simpson and her mother decided to diversify from farming. What started as a barn, evolved into six bedrooms and a bar and the business continued to grow, into the hotel and country estate it is now, complete with an award-winning country hotel with 30 bedrooms and 23 acres of award winning gardens, including tennis courts and a helipad! 40 years on, it is still Janet's home and passion, and she enjoys nothing more than sharing it with others, for all manner of functions, including weddings. Her ethos has always been to make you feel at home here too and able to relax and enjoy our gardens, the fabulous scenery and our locally sourced food. Janet and the team will do our up-most to ensure your stay with us is made special and memorable.

We recently got married at Gibbon Bridge, they were super helpful during the planning stages and service was amazing during the day!

Food was amazing, the place needs some TLC but it still has magnificent charm and class.Stayed in the staple suite with a lovely roaring fire. The staff were brilliant, very genuine and attentive.

No service. Building looking tired. Arrived for breakfast no menu waited and realised it was self service. Paid for dinner and then told by staff I will double check. Had Qe not paid in advance we certainly would have left immediately. However the boss owner is a beautiful lady. Needs to go that extra mile. SERVICE IS PARAMOUNT.
