The facade of the hotel is Georgian with an attractive small front garden. Inside, close to reception there are a number of elegant drawing rooms, where it is possible to sit and enjoy the complimentary lemon water. The restaurant/ bar area is also where a very good breakfast is served. We only had one meal in the restaurant and the quality and service were excellent. Because we booked direct we had vouchers for a free glass of wine with our meal. Our room was a paid-for upgrade which had a bedroom and separate sitting room, the hotel was quiet with little discernible noise from outside. The views from the room were very romantic, the river, the swans and the bridge to Eton were visible. In the evening myriad lights twinkled on the water. We have decided that this is our special place and will return again and again for weekends or special occassions

My wife and I visited Windsor for our wedding anniversary staying at the sir Christopher Wren hotel. From the polite greeting as the door was opened for us to the friendly and helpful reception staff we were made to feel right at home. The signature room we stayed in was lovely, well presented and very clean. The outside balcony was lovely and the bed comfortable. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with tasty high quality produce. I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting.

Fantastic hotel. We stayed in the other building over the street. which I was initially a little disappointed about. But was pleasantly surprised as it was another beautiful building with a cute courtyard as you walk through. The rooms were lovely too. Modern & comfortable. Can’t top the location for exploring Windsor. Right on the river- fantastic views over the river from the bar and restaurant. Friendly staff. Would stay here again. Great value for money.

The hotel is very well situated, so convenient for the sights of Eton and Windsor. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a very good selection of food for breakfast. The traditional double room was quite small, and it was disappointing not to have a fridge. The accessible room was very spacious and well equipped. After booking the hotel I rang them to request blue badge parking. On the first call they said I would have to call back closer to the time to see if spaces were available. On the second call I was told that the request had been put on our booking. By the third call, the day before we arrived, we were told that we could have a space. It was hard to understand why this was so complicated.
