Lovely 4 night stay with our Golden Retriever. The staff were very pleasant and we were well looked after. Upgraded online to include breakfast and got a great deal. perfect location for a few days away

Excellent location - very close to the beach and BIC as well as friendly and efficient staff. Bit confused on car parking but got there in the end - it is next to the Hampton Hilton. Check in quick and easy, Olivia was great. First impressions on hotel it is modern and clean. Lifts very good. We stayed in a king room with balcony. Room very spacious and clean. Only negative is that the bathroom bin was broken and could not open. Had drinks at the sky bar; very quick service. Good view and a nice place for a drink. Breakfast was okay Would stay here again

In winter the rooms can be very cold so talking to reception to get the temperature increased is vital. The thermostat in the room is centrally controlled. The pool is meant to be heated but it wasn't when we visited and in the winter it was very cold. There are only 2 coffee machines in the breakfast area and invariably one breaks down. So the queues at the other can get very long. When busy, the breakfast service can be become chaotic. The housekeeping and breakfast staff are excellent and always try their best. Management listening to comments and requests leaves something to be desired. Rooms are kept clean. If booking a room with a bath tub make sure you ask for soap as there are no dispensers close to the bath. Overall, great central location, close to many restaurants, beach and other amenities.

Have to say the service makes me feel really hopeless. We checked in online to our room prior to our arrival, but only told that our room was gave to other guests because we arrived late. What’s the point to check in early then? We ask for switching a room because we booked for a sea-view room but ended up getting a room you-cannot-see-the-sea. Unfortunately we lost our personal belonging during the process of room-switching. We have to talked and repeated our issues to 3 different concierges about the lost property because apparently they don’t share information. Every time the conversation has to restart. The first two are helpful and told us they will try their best to investigate. However, we hear nothing back until late in the day, and only told by the manager that no one told her about our issue, there is nothing she can do unless we call the police. It’s really frustrating that you know your belonging is in this hotel but you can never get it back. Updates We talked to one manager in charging of the 7am - 3pm slot. He has helped us investigating the issues, checking with relevant departments and individuals during our stay. Although we did not find back the lost item in the end, his dedication really touched us. I want to thank him for everything he did. We have also submitted our issues for inspection, hopefully hear back from the Global Assistance team soon.

This hotel is in a good location just a short walk from the beach etc. Most of the staff were nice (especially the top floor bar staff). We had a balcony room which is great but can get a little noisy at night from all the bars etc. Maybe ask for a room the other side of the hotel if this may affect you. Breakfast was nice. They have an executive lounge but for some reason (the staff didn’t know) it’s closed on weekends (am guessing it’s money saving as a lot of parties in Bournemouth on weekends). As diamond members they did give us drinks vouchers as stayed on a Fri night so lounge was closed. The parking is £13 per night on week nights and for some reason £15 per night on weekends. The upstairs bar was nice and staff were great. The pool was nice. The bad points of this hotel: some staff were not so great. They charge £50 for a SERVICE DOG. (Questioned this twice). There were loads of towels/skateboards and even used underwear on the floor in the pool changing rooms. They were there when I entered the pool and still there when I left. Am a diamond member and had to literally get my phone to prove this as they kept saying their system had me listed as gold. The hotel has got potential but just seems a bit cold and less friendly than most Hiltons. Hopefully they will improve with a little training and would be great if the lounge was open every day. Would I stay here again? Maybe on a week night to try the lounge otherwise would try the Hampton which is directly next door and scores well on trip advisor.
