Fantastic museum! Totally free, with lots of things to see and explore. Curators are very helpful and knowledgeable. You need really some time to finish the whole flow. It explains the story of Bristol basically from industrial and social aspects.

Fab museum of All things Bristolian. This time we just popped into the cafe for a piece of rocky road and a cuppa. It was raining so that's the pictures you get. Usually it is boiling hot when we go to this spot, but this time, not. Later in the day we sat outside the cafe chatting as everyone passed by love this place, what a buzz. Also found a free event there with Star wars droid and robots. Like I say fab place 😄😄😄😄😄😄

Nice free museum to visit at the weekend with family. I totally recommend it. It has a wonderful terrace view at the top floor. A picturesque view for the harbour and city centers.

🤓 Get on a tour if you can!! Very interesting museum about Bristol, its people and place in history. We had the opportunity to join a fantastic "behind the scenes" tour very ably led by Sue, which I would strongly recommend if you get the chance. It was billed as lasting "about an hour" with the opportunity to leave early, but not one person did! It ran for about for about an hour and a half, and honestly we could have stayed all afternoon! 😃 The museum itself takes care to contextualise its displays, as well as info on locales, famous locals and historical events; it deals with issues like the slave trade, BLM, sex work and LGBTQ issues sensitively. All for free, but donate if you can!
