Undeniably one of Chelsea’s most iconic restaurants, Bluebird is a grade II listed building, starting off its life as a garage made famous for being the home of the car that helped Sir Malcolm Campbell break the land speed record. It was transformed into a restaurant in 1997 and is most definitely as stylish as its oh-so-chic SW3 regulars.
Formally known as the members’ bar, the Bluebird Room is situated on the ground floor with its private entrance off Beaufort Street and stunning bar, has been designed to capture the spirit and glamour of the 1920s and 1930s. You can take full advantage of this space, which is perfect for seated dinners or standing receptions.

Had a 3 course lunch with prosecco with a friend and wow! The food was exceptional. The price was super reasonable. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere was delightful, quiet, and spacious. The best restaurant in Chelsea!

Up on flight of stairs next to Timothy Oulton on Kings Road. Large interior with a loft / industrial conversion feel. Beautiful interior with interesting pairings, interior designed seating with different seating sections. Light comes through the light well as well as the side windows. Quiet a nice chilled effect for lunch. Private dining area available too. Ordered the burger. Burger was normal size - meat was good quality with salad and tomatoes but lack an umami taste- something missing- blend to taste. Hispi cabbage was very good with bacon bits. Service was attentive.

Restaurant was clean, nicely decorated for Xmas and cozy. Food came out promptly and was delicious! Atmosphere was ruined by a family with young children who were out of control. At one point a child threw a boomerang and it hit the next table where people were sat . I was disappointment servers/managers ignored this going on in their establishment.

Starter and dessert was good. Mains was underwhelming. Much better food elsewhere for £60 pp incl drink. The pasta was good but at £25 for mains it left a lot to be desired. Crab salad starter hit the spot.
