The venue is set within the charming Welsh countryside which boasts unrivalled beauty and picturesque backdrops for your important photographs. In addition, the breath-taking estate has an impressive 15-acre lake and a serpentine pond, complete with a delightful jetty which is the perfect spot to capture a few special moments on camera.
The Castle, dating back to the 17th Century, has an undeniable sense of grandeur and elegance throughout. The grade I listed building is steeped in history, featuring striking original architecture, gothic towers and sweeping staircases.
As one of our most spacious rooms, the Garden Room caters for up to 80 delegates and offers floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for plenty of natural daylight and wonderful views of our countryside surroundings - a great option for any business meeting.

From selecting our tea choice to enjoying our selection of sandwiches and pastries. January 2024I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at Hensol Castle in August. With its sprawling lush scenery and gleaming lake it is a dream and the possibilities for capturing beautiful, unique images are endless. The castle itself provides a majestic backdrop for all your group shots and inside the warm tones and expansive rooms are a delight. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful in all aspects of the event and the food was delicious. I cannot wait to shoot here again.

February 2024Lovely afternoon tea in stunning setting. Food was excellent quality and beautifully presented. Table service was good. However, front of house was not reflective of the high quality expected of such a well respected establishment. We were asked to vacate our table in an abrupt fashion, after waiting for our bill for over 20 mins. This was disappointing to say the least and soured what would have been the perfect afternoon.
