Excellent hotel! The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is great with a lot of options. Swimming pool and gym are great. The room was a bit small but clean, silent and comfy. The bed was great. The location is excellent. Nothing negative to point out, only positives.

Visited twice now. Nice clean rooms. Enjoyable buffet breakfast. More than helpful staff. The front desk man who was there throughout the night made our stay so much more welcoming due to his kindness and service. The only fault was the dinner. Had to wait hours for simple dishes. A 7year old child was forced to eat at 11pm after waiting over 3 hours for food. 2 out of 3 of the pizza’s ordered were burnt.

Good location. Nice room. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Short staffed. No housekeeping on our stay but didn't bother us. Good breakfast. Swimming pool. Would stay again.

A fairly modest hotel in an ideal location just off Kensington High Street. I'd however manage ones expectations of the standard of quality within the hotel rooms. A point to highlight the most is the 'double' beds as advertised online are actually 2 single beds put together. Worse off the bed mattress themselves are not firm at all and let your body sink right through them. So a good night's sleep is near impossible. Coupled with a few 'noisy neighbours' in the surrounding rooms that added to a "peaceful night's sleep" (caution user experience may very depending if you go during a busy holiday season or quiet period). If however you can get through that, then everything else going for the double room we stayed in was satisfactory. There is a swimming pool and gym, however both are managed separately from Holiday Inn, which was a surprise as it was advertised online that these amenities come included with any hotel room selection. The gym is free to access whereas the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi cost £10 a day per person. I would caution other visitors that this Holiday Inn branch is not a '4-star hotel' as portrayed from the average Google reviews. So if you do plan to stay here, be mindful and adjust your expectations. Otherwise you may come up heavily disappointed.

On arrival at the hotel I thought guests must have been evacuated or there had been some incident as the queues at the check-in desks were extremely long. Despite standing in line for AN HOUR, no staff member explained the cause of the delay or offered apologies or indicated how long we were likely to wait. When eventually it was my turn to check in, I asked the receptionist what the problem was. Her response was very abrupt: "there is no problem". On being pressed further as to the exceedingly long wait to check in, she retorted "we're very busy". Sadly, this attitude exemplified the rest of the stay. No information was given about breakfast or facilities. The small room was adequate and clean. The breakfast was good. What should have been a relaxing stay was tainted by the appalling first impression on arrival. Very disappointing for the cost. I will not be visiting this hotel or any other Holiday Inn until I can be assured that they have resolved their check-in and staffing problems. It was a truly bizarre experience which I've never encountered at any hotel before.
