Amazing experience. BEST DEAL especially for the price. I travel often and really look at hotel reviews before I book places. The price and looked clean enough for this hotel even with some mixed reviews so I took the chance and I'm so glad I did. Late flight had no issues checking in late easy process 1 am. Pleasant surprise.. booked family suite because was traveling with buddy and wanted separate beds. It was a bed and bunkbeds set up but when we arrived he had a nice double bed from part of the couch already made. Modern feel LED lights and was super clean. All staff super nice and friendly. Amazing location right in the center of city. We walked everywhere. All the restaurants bars lounges and attractions only few blocks away. Royal Mile and Castle maybe only 10-15 min walk not bad at all. This city really easy to navigate. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay here. The hotel room was clean and modern. The staff are friendly and beyond helpful. The bar area is very comfortable and spacious, and a great place to kill some time. There’s a wide variety of local drink selections. We’d happily stay again.

Really stunning hotel, very modern, up to scratch rooms. Staff at reception were very accommodating and warm. The location is a 5 minute walk from the centre of the city which proved really handy! Exceptional hospitality and stunning place to stay. Reclining bed was unreal! Very luxurious for a budget hotel.

Great hotel at a great location. Pricing was good for the rooms available. We stayed for 7 days and would stay again if required. The service was OK, with most staff being functional but not entirely enthusiastic to deal with customers. This is a budget hotel so there are no coffee/tea makings in the room, but basic fixings can be found in the bar area to take up to your room if required. The is a safe and fridge although the fridge was in a cabinet with no ventilation so it struggled to keep stuff really cool. Not sure why it was designed this way as fridges need airflow around them. USB plugs are available in the room, plenty of space in the room we had, great toilet and shower and bed which was adjustable for sitting up. That feature was awesome. Breakfast is an option if required and the bar is a great space to grab a drink or a snack. There is also a credit system for the bar if you skip a day of room service. This is a service that Ibis hotels were doing years ago. Within walking distance for all the shopping, transport links and more.

My wife and I stayed here during our recent trip to Edinburgh. Location is phenomenal, and we were able to walk to most of the Royal Mile, Victoria Street and downtown without much problem. The advertising for the hotel is somewhat misleading. They advertised on their website a business/print center and a vending machine with necessities like toothpaste, neither of which they actually had. The check in/out experience was all automated and done at a kiosk, customer service was very minimalist. Easy enough to deal with, but sometimes it's nice to deal with a human. The bathrooms also had a very strange set up in our room. Toilets and showers were in enclosed stalls, in a room divided from the sleeping area by a curtain. That made it so if either of us used the toilet in the middle of the night, we would wake up the other when we turned on the light. We were not fans. The breakfast was fine but not worth the price tag when there are multiple cafes in walking distance with better quality food at comparable price.
