Nice bed but that was about it had to move rooms cos the door wouldn't lock. After we moved it was really hot but the window wouldn't open they left a fan but it didn't work. Been in a lot better 3 star hotels.

Stayed here as where I usually stay was fully booked, so wasn't really expecting much. Stayed here years ago and had a good experience, but I would say it's now in need of a little TLC as far as the room was concerned —as an example, the towel rail next to our sink was broken/no longer there but nothing was done about making it look less like it'd been ripped off the wall, but not a big deal. Given the circumstances I appreciate they are likely short-staffed and so shrugged off the hair found on one of the mugs, the cardholder for the room keycard left on the bedside, and the two spare pillowcases (presumably) mistakenly left as they were nothing too bothersome. I was a little concerned about the blood-stained pillow though, which I only discovered after stripping the bed to try help the housekeeping staff a little...kind of wish I hadn't!! Saying that, it's in a good location if you're going to the arena as it's literally just a few minutes around the corner so if that's what you're looking for then it's ideal. Was a little on the noisy side but you expect that in a city centre.

I would say this place supplies a functional experience. Know we are an older couple, but from when we arrived, the place was noisy, with lots of youngsters hogging all the seats, so could hardly even find a seat to sit down for food. The restaurant was only running a reduced menu, the food was good but you had to wait. The bed was comfortable, but did not have a very good sheet, so had to fix the sheet every time we moved.

Sterile box of a hotel, looking on to a courtyard of such stupefyingly hideousness it is beyond belief that it was actually designed by a fully qualified architect. The rooms are what you might expect, the bathroom lacks an extractor fan or window and as such there is an all pervading dank aroma. One member of our party in an adjoining room found mould in the bathroom. On the positive side, staff are friendly and efficient. A shoe box masquerading as an upmarket hotel.

Very pleasant stay. Staff extremely polite and helpful. Made to feel very welcome. Good facilities. However, the decor and furnishings are now looking a little worn and tired. Probably due an uplift. That said good value for money and I would stay again.
