May 2024My Sister & myself recently spent 2 nights at the Maldron Hotel. We were delighted with everything about this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean , the food was excellent and the staff were excellent. They were courteous, friendly & very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be recommending this hotel to all our Family & Friends. We hope to return soon for another break. Well done to all staff !! X

June 2024I stayed for 4 nights in May 2024. Loved this hotel! The room was large, with a spacious bathroom, clean and quiet as I was at the back. Well equipped apart from a lack of drawer/shelf space. The safe was placed high up so I had to climb on a chair to reach it, but I am quite short. The TV didn’t work due to an external fault but I was given a 3 course meal as a goodwill gesture. We received a friendly welcome on our arrival. All staff were friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humour! A special thank you to Ken who seems to be a master of all trades and always on hand. The food was excellent and there was plenty of choice and variety. I ordered some more tea bags and they arrived in a robot butler which was superb and finds its way around the hotel, navigates the lifts and talks to you! I would certainly stay again!

April 2024Just had a lovely first stay at Maldron Newcastle. An amazing hotel, friendly staff, nothing is too much bother , particularly Suzanne on reception.The room was perfection, everything you could need. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Absolutely no noise. And to top it all we were served room service by a Robot. I will definitely be booking again very soon. Oh and the breakfast is perfection.

May 2024The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful at all times. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We requested a quiet room and it was very quiet. Breakfast was also very good with a lot of choice and very good value. The hotel itself had a lovely atmosphere and we enjoyed our stay.

March 2024During our two-day and one-night trip to Newcastle, my husband and I had pre-booked this hotel. However, the receptionist at check-in was not very friendly and seemed impatient. Once we received the room key card, everything was fine. The room itself was new, clean, and had a pleasant scent, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable. However, we noticed that the ventilation fan was dirty, and some of the accessories couldn't be properly installed. To summarize, the room was very good overall, with no major issues. The only thing worth noting is that toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided in the room. Guests staying here should remember to bring their own.
