Although they named the bar Floripa, a Brazilian city, they have nothing to offer from the city or even from the country. The menu or the atmosphere has nothing to do with the Brazilian culture. Not only that, my friends and I got kicked out from the bar because we weren't consuming enough. We understood that was the day of a huge match for England (it was the semifinals of the world cup), but they didn't have the right to treat ANY consumers the way they treated us, specially tourists that are trying to save some money. As you may know, London is a touristic city, therefore not everybody that is visiting your bar is used to your culture; have that in mind. The security guard came to us saying that we had to left the bar, we said we wanted to buy something so we could stay and watch the game, however, for him, that wasn't an option. He touched us, didn't listen to us, it was terrible. Not only that, we weren't even able to stay standing up, even though we just wanted to watch the match. We not only got kicked out, we couldn't even get out by the front entrance. Everybody was staring at us and laughing. It was really embarrassing. So, here are some tips for you: First, if you want to name a bar from a city from a beautiful country, please study something about the rich culture that it has. Second, if something like that happens again, there are ways and manners to treat people. Be a little bit empathic and you will maybe get better. Good luck, you will need it.

This place was too cheap to turn their air conditioning on with a rammed dance floor when it had been one of the hottest days of the year. The bouncers were unnecessarily disrespectful on the way in, and when I ordered two cocktails, the guy behind the bar announced "there's no ice", and then proceeded to act like a dick when I suggested alternatives. Of course the ice miraculously came back for other punters 30 minutes later... Oh yeah, and 21 quid for a double of "cheap" Johnny Walker Black Label in a tacky plastic cup is a piss take. Average at best, vote with your wallet and go somewhere that actually cares about your experience.

Walked by this place last night and this girl right outside offered us a free shot at the bar, so we checked it out. There was one group of four in the entire place, but we figured we may as well stay for a drink. First off, the free "shot" was straight up sprite. Second, I asked how much a shot of Jameson was, and the chick told me £10.50. A bit steep for me, so I asked how much the house whiskey costs. She said £10.50 as well, for a SINGLE not even for a double. I couldn't believe that. She insisted that their cheapest, house spirits all cost £10.50. That is ABSURD. Even a cocktail (that usually has a double shot) at some of the high end cocktail bars of London don't even cost that much. I've worked in Sydney and New York and house spirits don't cost that much anywhere. No wonder there was no one in there... I'm sorry but they're not going to make any money by charging that much for a single nip of a house spirit. The chick was incredibly rude as well so we left. Such a shame.

Very lively place to have a drink and a dance. Has inside and out, but the outside part is closed after a certain time. Security and staff are friendly. Only problem is that the sound is too loud and hard to communicate with the bar tenders and also to talk. Still a great place to go especially if you are in your twenties.

Friendly staff and were always available. Thumbs up for them. 👍👍 The happening seats were outside, they were taken, so we had to sit inside. Music wasn't bad.. Food is okay, drinks were better.
