An Indo-Chinese Brasserie in the heart of Westminster!
Undisputedly the most modern and alluring Chinese city in the 1930s, Shanghai was a seductive concoction of glamour and sin, prompting some to call it “The Paris of the East“. The arriving Art Deco style was reinterpreted with more sumptuous Chinese materials like lacquer, ivory, local woods and silks and created a sensual experience like no other.

Imagine Shanghai at night – the full moon all-knowing behind fleeting clouds... occasionally allowing you a glance into the mysterious world of gangsters and showgirls, frequenting the
many cabarets, dance halls, elite ballrooms and glitzy restaurants... or brothels...

A hub for artists and celebrities, the trendiest city in Asia truly became a legendary place with its East meets West ambience and endless opportunities.

Let us lift the veil to the world of Shanghai Noir...

In a world where culinary artistry meets unparalleled luxury, our Indo-Chinese restaurant stands as a beacon of exceptional fine dining. We invite you to join us and immerse yourself in a realm of gastronomic delight, where every moment is infused with the essence of indulgence and refinement.

Semi-private breakout space within restaurant floor that can seat up to 24 seated in mixtures of long tables and round tables of 6's.

Had a great meal and experience at Shanghai Noir. The interior decor was a great setting. I really enjoyed the food and the staff and management went out of their way. The Sesame Garlic Shrimp was out of this world and Black Bean Scallops were amazing! The Chilli pepper tofu had us thinking it was paneer but it was actually tofu! Really good! The steamed chicken dumplings and the sauce that came with it was delicious! The Cantonese Steamed Ginger Sea Bream was fresh and refreshing! I would definitely come and visit again! Thank you for making it a great birthday celebration meal!

Really lovely experience. Nice ambience, and a good menu - a good selection, and a good range without being too much to choose between. The food was a good standard, with lovely flavours. The wine was well priced - but could have been colder. The panacotta was a treat, and a nice climax to a good quality meal. Very pleased.

Great food, wonderful drinks, lovely staff (especially the welcoming host - big personality and lovely man - major kudos to him) A happy memory and will go back for sure! Highly recommend the short rib. Two suggestions would be to get better waffles and do consider slightly increasing the prawn portion size.

Celebrated my sister's birthday here. Food and service were really good. The cocktails were amazing. The Indo-Chinese flavours brought back nice memories! We tried a number of dishes and all of them were good. Definitely recommend this place.

The restaurant has nice ambience and the staff is really courteous. The food was quite nice, we found it flavourful and portions are quite generous. I had the Fisherman soba noodle bowl, which was so tasty and rich in seafood. The only downside was that I found both the noodles and the fish to be a bit overcooked. The pepper lamb we had as a starter was delish. All things considered, it was a pleasant and experience but hadn’t we had 50% off the meal, I would have found it very overpriced and not value for money.
